ON LAVENDER is an exploration of the multiplicities of gender identity in contemporary Greek society. The film delves into the lives of its protagonists, weaving together their experiences, memories and histories through semi-structured interviews, creative shots and animation. The viewer is invited into a world where multiple perspectives on gender and performativity intersect through a tapestry of narratives that reflect on the intricate complexities of identity within our ever-evolving world. ON LAVENDER received the Mermaid Award Special Mention at the 27th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival.
